COMPANY PROFILE / Company Profile Uğur Karoser company was founded in 1979 by Hazım SONMEZYUVA in Bursa. The indoor usage area of ​​our production site is 2,453 mt2 and the open area is 541 mt2. Uğur Karoser s main field of activity is bus / midibus / minibus, towing / motor caravan body construction and modification. In 1999, in line with the developing technology and the needs of the time, the conversion of panel van vehicles into minibuses began. In 2006, Uğur Karoser signed a future-oriented partnership with two foreign automotive companies, Spanish and Dutch, in BUSEB (Bursa Free Zone), and a production facility of 9,000 m2 in total was established. In 2013, our company obtained European International Type Approval Certificates (COC) on Iveco chassis and started to produce its own models suitable for disabled use on minibus-midibus-buses. Our company still continues to produce tourism, school and low-floor versions of both the conversion from panel van to minibus and the vehicles we have built on the chassis. In 2020, European Type Approval Trailer Caravan production started on ALKO and SCHLEGL caravan chassis, taking into account the understanding of holiday in accordance with the social distance that developed with the pandemic process. Our company is the approved superstructure company of Daimler AG/ Mercedes Benz, Iveco S.p.A, Alko and Schlegl brands.
