In 2007, two separate Camping and Caravan associations were established in Istanbul on the European and Asian sides (ISTANBUL KKD, ASIA KKD). Since this date, new Camping and Caravan associations have started to be established throughout the country in order to eliminate the deficiencies and drawbacks caused by the management from a single center and to spread the Associations throughout the country. And in 2002, for the first time in Turkey, the Web page, which provides communication on the internet, was transferred to the use of our Federation in 2007 and started to be used effectively in the establishment of the Federation. These established associations came together on 29.May.2008 and started to unite under one roof by establishing the NATIONAL CAMPING AND CARAVAN FEDERATION, which our community has needed for many years but has not been able to realize for many years, and currently continues its activities with 15 Associations affiliated as the only Federation of our country in this field. After the establishment of our country s first website on Caravanning and Camping, the opening of social media accounts on this subject has been one of the important milestones that the camping and caravan sector has started to attract more and more attention. On 06.12.2011, it became a member of the International Camping and Caravan Federation at www.Ficc.org in order to promote abroad, and participated in the RALLYs held by FICC in different countries every year (FICC Member clubs) with our Association members and promoted our country.
